Been meaning to try this place for quite some time and man did it deliver! Wife and I went in for lunch and ordered the filet mignon lomo saltado, leche de tigre seafood cocktail, some beans and arroz con mariscos (rice with mixed seafood. My leche de tigre cocktail was incredible. Perfect amount of acidity and the seafood was so fresh it melts in your mouth. My arroz con mariscos sort of resembled a Spanish Paella, but with a Peruvian twist. Unreal flavor. The beans were ok. And my wife said her lomo saltado lacked a bit of flavor, but still good. All in all the food was delicious! The service was also very good and the waiter was very attentive. I do feel this place should be a bit bigger considering how GOOD it is. Hopefully they expand soon. There were only about 7 tables inside. And most of them are 2 seaters. Can't wait to be back

Food is amazing and seasoned to perfection! As a Peruvian, the food here reminds me of home and comfort. Patty, our server, was wonderful and treated us like family. This is the place I come to when I'm craving a feel of a home cooked meal.

My sister was craving Peruvian ceviche and we stumbled upon this place since it's near our apartment. We walked in on a Sunday night and they were able to sit us right away. The restaurant has an intimate ambiance and the servers were friendly. They do take reservations since it's a small restaurant. It got busy after we got seated but the service was fast. The food were delicious and so flavorful! The presentation was a bonus! They also start you off with complimentary bread with a green dip and it was so good. We ordered: Ceviche Mixto - seafood was generous, sauce is tasty Huancaina Pasta with Filet Mignon - rich and cheesy pasta, great cook to the meat Chocoflan for dessert - it was so moist and not too sweet, it was a great end to our meal! We will definitely be back!

The octopus was beautiful and delicious! Perfectly cooked. The outdoor seating is peaceful and the service is solid.

The scallops were great and the pesto pasta was fantastic. Lonzo's has limited seating but will try to accommodate you as much as possible. They had good service as well. I don't mind dining outdoors on a nice day and I don't find you will mind either even as cars pass by. The pasta is very creamy and savory and both meats were done quite well.

Small hole-in-the-wall restaurant with good food. They're very attentive and friendly. Food tastes fresh. They're salads are soooo good and fresh! I'm looking forward to going back and trying some other dishes! Metered street parking in the area

This what I mean when I say I love "hidden gems." This modest restaurant packs a punch with amazing food and wonderful service. I had a carb heavy dinner and I went home so happy. Tallarin Saltado with filet mignon (24.96) was as good as the version I had from Rikas in Koreatown. Extra creamy and flavorful. It was reach and satisfying. Arroz con mariscos (28.08) was delicious with so many different types of seafood included. The portion matched the price and it was so delicious. We ended our meal with a flan + chocolate cake combo which was interesting because the textures didn't match, but never the less satisfied our sweet craving at the end of the meal. The shop is small and modest, but the food is rich. I was surprised that something like this sits quietly in Culver City, but anyone who tries this for the first time will be pleasantly surprised.

Great food! The drinks were great! Service was good. Ambiance was exactly what you'd expect from a hole in the wall joint with great food.... Will be back for sure!

Another spot I haven't dropped a review for. So, here goes ... Another spot on Washington. This time close to the corner of Washington and Midway. A block west of Overland. Nothing but street parking unless you want to walk from the shopping plaza. Meter enforcement stops at 6. The restaurant is pretty small. However, there's both indoor and outdoor seating. Not a fan of sitting outside though, as it's on the sidewalk, not an enclosed patio so lots of people walking by. Not to mention the cars - exhaust and noise. Service has been hit and miss, but mostly hit otherwise, I likely wouldn't have come back as much as I have. I won't go into the miss - so I'll just say that each time I've dined here, it's been after work, meaning dinner rush. So, the staff were busy, but still friendly and nice enough. I didn't include attentive as the place is small enough that anyone can just catch someone's attention by just turning your head towards the counter/kitchen or staff. I've enjoyed all the dishes I've had here. See pics. A few dishes I felt the portion size was a little lacking but it definitely made up in taste. The pasta dishes I've ordered all came out to my liking, just a little al dente. Meat temperatures were never beyond medium and I really enjoy the bread and Aji Verde. The sauce isn't as spicy as I love, but still good enough that I have to refrain from eating too much before the entree is served. I just wish they served cocktails. Overall, I like Lonzo's and I'm sure I'll be back for more.
